This was a two-year engagement as interim Director of Research.
* Surveyed domestic end-users and channel partners for leading supplier of industrial metering devices to guide client in integrating recently acquired competitor into the existing sales & marketing structure;
* Worked hands-on with CEO of small manufacturing firm to successfully introduce innovative new product into the printing industry;
* Working with senior level managers, facilitated transformation of $200 million independent oil & gas company from traditional functional organization to business unit team structure;
* Identified potential new markets for proprietary chemical compounds for major global chemical company faced with excess capacity issues;
* Served as interim Senior VP directing sales & marketing, transportation & distribution and business development functions for $250 million subsidiary of Fortune 500 company during period of divestiture; maintained both market share and attractive operating margins;
* Completed successful turnaround of Italian manufacturing firm through upgrading of basic process equipment and technical support function to achieve a competitive product line for the European market.
